PRETTY FLORAL DRESS & 10 THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT ME…
Happy Tuesday guys! Today I wanted to share with you how I styled this pretty blue floral dress, and share some things you didn’t know about me! There is also some embarrassing things, but I will save that for another post! đ
I have been busy this morning taking care of Kennedy, cleaning, getting us both ready for the day, and trying to get her 1st Birthday party all ready! Do any of you moms have favorite Etsy shops you loved for your baby’s birthday party?! Also, we are trying to figure out some good presents for a one year old. We don’t want to get a whole bunch of things, just some age appropriate toys and clothes! Let me know if you guys have any recommendations- I would love to hear from you in the comments below!! Click âREAD THE POSTâ below to keep readingâŠ

FLORAL DRESS // PINK BAG // GREY BLOCK HEELÂ // EARRINGS // BRACELETS (HERE + HERE) // NECKLACE // LIPSTICK (“LIV IT UP” // LIP GLOSSÂ (“TURKISH DELIGHT”)
I saw this pretty blue floral dress online and was in love with the beautiful color and floral print! I also loved the tie front and the flowy sleeves. This is such a perfect dress for church, brunch, a wedding, or another casual or special occasion. I’m also so happy about the block heel trend for fall. A lot of the heels coming out for fall are chunky and really make a statement! These chunky grey ankle strap ones are actually really lightweight and super comfy! I was able to wear them with jeans and chase Kennedy around in them with no problems.
I also picked up this dusty pink quilted crossbody bag I had been eyeing for a while. The dusty pink color actually goes with a lot of different outfits and it adds the perfect subtle pop of color to any outfit. I love the quilted and gun-metal hardware and chain. This bag looks great dressed up with a dress or down for a date night on the weekends with some jeans. The chain strap is also removable, so you can wear it as a clutch as well!
I also wanted to share 10Â things you didn’t know about me!
1.I am an identical twin! I have an identical twin sister who lives in California and she has a baby boy who is 6 months old. We are 10 minutes apart and are best friends! đ
2.I did acting out of high school instead of going to college right away! I’ve done tv shows, movies, commercials, and print work! I have taken a break from acting since I went to college, got married, and had my baby, but I’m hoping to get back into acting again soon!
3.When I first started out doing acting, I wrote down a list of positive affirmations and goals I wanted to achieve. A LOT of them actually have come true!! I made a goal to be in a movie directed by Clint Eastwood one day. My dream came true when I filmed the movie Jersey Boys with him and got to meet and talk with him!
4.I have an obsession with tortilla chips, guacamole and tacos! Basically ALLÂ Mexican food!
5.I am actually a convert to the LDS (Mormon) church. I was introduced to the church from a friend I met in an acting class and got baptized 4 years ago along with my twin sister!
6.I am a germ freak! I can’t stand when people sneeze and cough around me in public- especially around my baby! hehe
7.I am a naturally shy person, but once you get to know me I am really outgoing and talkative! I’m not a huge fan of being in front of a lot of people or being in big groups of people. I prefer a small group where I can sit and have conversations with them one on one. I love being out and about, but I also love coming back home and being cozy! I guess you can say I am more of a homebody. đ
8.I am half Italian! My grandmother was from Sicily, Italy! My grandfather’s parents came to America from Naples, Italy and settled in Brooklyn, New York. I guess that’s where my love of pasta and pizza comes from!
9.I met my husband Alex at a game night with mutual friends but he was too shy to ask for my number in front of everyone. So I had to make the first move and message him on Facebook! haha! We went on our first date shortly after that and have been obsessed with each other ever since!
10.I have been attacked by dogs and had to go to the hospital and get stitches for them. But I still LOVE animals and have such a soft spot for them!

My daughter just turned one and planning her party was so fun! She got a few “little people” toys and loves them all! They make houses princess carriages and so much more. She also loves some large wooden peg puzzles she got. Hope you enjoy planning Kennedy’s party!
