I also have an amazing Giveaway where I’ve teamed up with my favorite baby brands to giveaway everything you will need to get started! The entire Giveaway is worth over $1,800 in products and Gift Cards!!! My favorite baby brands have put together an amazing bundle of products!
Here is what is included in the Giveaway:
1. Swaddles with cute prints!
Whether you’re having a boy or girl, find a cute pack of swaddles like these Swaddle Designs 4-pack muslin ones! They will be used in the hospital after your baby is born, and look so pretty for hospital or newborn pictures. They also make great lightweight blankets for stroller rides, wiping up spit up, and much more! I had a few swaddles in every room when Kennedy was an infant- that’s how much I used them!! I love the Swaddle Designs brand of muslin swaddles because they are soft but also really sturdy. It is easy to swaddle and keep it tight with the muslin swaddles.
2. Stroller, Car Seats and Accessories
The Jeep All-Terrain Stroller is the only stroller you’ll need! It has everything you need all in one stroller. Plus it grows with your child. It starts as a travel system when your baby is a newborn. SO the infant car seat can be clicked in! It can be forward or rear facing once your baby is big enough for the toddler seat. It is super lightweight and has a large storage basket underneath!! It can withstand all types of terrain, city sidewalks, dirt paths, rain, and being used at night with the reflective piping!
3. Velcro Swaddles
The HALO SleepSack was a complete life-saver! I used it right when Kennedy came home from the hospital! I had 2 different ones in the newborn size, and 2 in the 0-3 months size. They run big so she was able to be in the newborn size for a couple months- and she was a big baby! I say get 2 HALO Velcro swaddles, because if one gets dirty with a blow-out or spit up, you will want a clean one to put on right away. I love that they are velcro!! Moms- velcro swaddles will change everything. I was never super great at swaddling, so these were a lifesaver. You simply pace your baby in the sac and use the velcro to make it snug and tight. With these velcro swaddles, Kennedy was never able to get her arms out and slept SO amazing! I tried using a regular swaddle overnight once, and she had gotten it undone after only an hour. haha!
4. Baby Carrier
The Blooming Bath Carrier is such a great carrier for your child! It is the new Airpod which is super lightweight! I used a carrier ALL the time when Kennedy was an infant. Some days she didn’t like to be set down away from me, so I had to carry her in the front pack carrier. She would always fall asleep in there and loved watching me do things. It really was the only way I could get things done around the house when she was colicky and fussy! It is great for walks, traveling, for dad to wear baby to bond with the baby, or anytime you need your hands free!
5. Docatot
The Docatot Deluxe was such an amazing baby product we used from the time we brought Kennedy home! She slept SOO good in her Docatot! The soft, cushioning around her made her feel comfortable and I think it made her feel more like she was in the womb. When I would lay her to sleep without it, she would never sleep as good. We used it for a while and Kennedy has always been a great sleeper. She started sleeping 8-10 hours straight at 1 months and I swear the Docatot had a lot to do with that!
6. Mamaroo
We are huge fans of the 4Moms Mamaroo and Kennedy loved the Mamaroo too! It is really soft and plush and so comfy for your baby. It would always soothe and comfort my baby when I needed to clean or get ready. She really did not like the Rock N Play, but she LOVED the Mamaroo! It has varies speeds, motions, sounds and a little mobile for them to look at!
7. Bottle Warmer
Having a bottle warmer is also a must-have. It is not recommended to heat up formula or breast milk in the microwave because it can cause hot spots in the milk which can burn the inside of your baby’s mouth. Microwaving it also can kill a lot of nutrients your baby needs in the milk. I used a bottle warmer all day, everyday for a long time. It is super simple and easy to use. This one by Baby Breeza has two modes and it keeps breast milk or formula at the perfect temperature for your baby. If you plan on breastfeeding and freezing your milk, this will come in handy!
8. Nursing + Pumping Bras
I 100% percent recommend investing in a great nursing and pumping bra! I got three nursing bras and used them all the time once Kennedy starting breastfeeding finally at 3 months old. They make breastfeeding soo easy and it has an snap to quickly feed. I also highly recommend a pumping bra, if that is something you plan on doing. I pumped for the first 3 months every 3 hours! Having a pumping bra so I could be hands free for 15 minutes was a life saver. I was able to hold Kennedy, catch up on emails, and even get ready at my vanity while I pumped! haha I had it set up in the family room when she was a newborn, but eventually put it on my vanity so I can do emails and get ready while Kennedy was next to me.
9. Humidifier
If you live in a desert or drier climate such as California or Utah, it is important to have a humidifier! I got this one from Crane and love it. It is easy to clean and change the water. A humidifier especially comes in handy if your baby ever gets sick! Speaking of getting sick, it is an unfourtante thing that your baby might go through. They get exposed to lots of germs, they will put everything in their mouth, and just being around other sick people might catch something. I recommend registering for the Nose Frida in case your baby catches anything and needs their nose passageway cleared up. It is great to have these things handy in case this happens suddenly overnight and don’t have time to go get one. i have loved the Nose Frida and the boogie wipes!
10. Baby Monitor
Project Nursery HD Video Baby Monitor System with 1.5-Inch Mini Monitor is a must-have item! I love how it has a monitor you can take with you from room to room in the house and you can wear the mini monitor as a watch! That is so great for when you are cleaning or doing chores quickly while the baby is sleeping, and want your hands free to do other things. It has 2 way audio talking, night vision and room temperature sensor. It is so nice to see what the room temperature is. Sometimes Kennedy’s nursery is way more hot than our room downstairs, so we know when to cool it down or turn the heat on! You can also record videos, snap pictures, and it plays lullabies or white noise.
11. Belly Bandit Wrap
The Belly Bandit Original Bandit is a MUST-HAVE mamas!!! I used this when I was still in the hospital after having Kennedy. I had Alex help me put it on, and I wore it pretty much 24/7 for about 5-6 weeks. No one ever told me what my stomach would look and feel like post-baby, so I’m so glad I had brought this with me to start using. Your stomach will still be stretched out and your cervix will still be enlarged from it being stretched out for 9 months. So this helps speed up contracting everything back down. Once everything is back down to it’s normal size, this will help even more with getting your stomach back to normal. I NEVER thought my stomach would ever be flat again. I was honestly so shocked when I saw it after delivery. But this worked soo great and now it is completely flat again. I even have a flatter stomach now than I did before I had Kennedy! ha!
12. Diaper Pail
Babies poop a lot. I mean a LOT. Oh, and all the diapers stink really bad. But one of these diaper pails will make your house not stink as bad! We always have a diaper pail in Kennedy’s room. The contain the diaper odors and make everything smell nice.
13. Newborn Lounger
I got this newborn lounger and wasn’t sure if I would even use it with Kennedy. I realized fast that mama also needs to shower, brush her teeth and get a few chores done during the day! haha This Boppy newborn lounger was every single day! Kennedy loved sitting in there propped up in the middle of my bed while I was getting ready or cleaning. It is really comfy and plush! A lot of my other mommy friends had it with their newborns too and swear by it! Boppy makes several cute prints for boys and girls! I have the grey elephant one but I love the pink heart one too!
14. Diaper Bag
The most favorite diaper bag I own is hands down the Freshly Picked diaper bag. It has the perfect amount of space for all my things and I love how it is structured. It has a great shape and design, and is really sturdy. The inside has lots of pockets perfect for all the things you’ll need for your baby. Pockets designed for diapers, wipes, etc. it also has pockets on the outside and it can fit a laptop. The flap magnet is really great and it can be worn has a messenger style, a back pack, and has a top strap so it can be hooked onto your stroller with the mommy hook! I have the black color but it comes in several other gorgeous colors I am obsessed with!
15. Bottles
I used bottles from the very beginning with Kennedy because she wouldn’t latch right away. I had registered for several bottle sets and tested out a few before finding the ones that Kennedy loved the most. Kennedy loved the ComoTomo bottles and the Baby Breeza bottles! We also used the MAM bottles when she was a little older and took those really great as well. The ComoTomo bottles are great because it is really soft and the nipple is really naturally shaped. So these were easy bottles Kennedy always took and loved. The Baby Breeza 14-Piece Bottle Gift Set would be so amazing to add to your registry as well! You get SO much in the gift set that you will use. This bottle also has a breast-like nipple, so it’s really great for newborns! I like how the gift set already comes with 2 fast flow nipples once your baby grows and gets older. The newborn nipple is ideal for 1-2 months. After that, if your baby seems to be frustrated with bottle feedings or can’t suck it out fast enough it is time to upgrade to a faster flow nipple. Also, not having the right size nipple for how much your baby eats, can cause issues such as sucking too much air and getting gassy. You can also register for those faster flow nipples so you won’t have to worry about going out and getting them later!
16. Bath Products
Hands down my favorite body wash and lotion is from Noodle & Boo. It has the most amazing smell and Kennedy always has the softest skin. I always used the Noodle & Boo bath products such as the Newborn 2-in 1 Hair & Body Wash and the Super Soft Lotion. on Kennedy since she was a newborn. It leaves her skin moisturized and smelling clean and fresh. That amazing fresh baby scent! She has never had any skin irritations and it has always been so gentle on her delicate skin. I always recommend Noodle & Boo to all my preggo friends!
17. White Noise Machine + Soother
Getting a white noise machine or a soother was a GAME CHANGER when it came to sleeping through the night (and for naps). Kennedy has always been a great sleeper and I am very lucky. But I honestly think it isn’t just luck, there are a few tools and tricks I did to help keep it that way. One of the tools I swear by is a white noise machine. This soother from SkipHop plays 2 melodies and 2 nature sounds. You can bring it with you on the goo in the stroller or in the car too! I still have one for Kennedy and she is 18 months old. It drowns out any noise, garbage trucks, people ringing the doorbell, the dog barking, etc. Trust me and add this to your list ASAP!!!
18. Teething Toys
Teething toys are something you will need sooner than you think! I recommend registering for not only newborn items, but things you will need several months down the road. Teething toys will be used all the time and will help your baby not be as fussy during those phases. It helps realize some pain and discomfort by being able to chew on one. We have always loved the Sophie Le Giraffe teething toy. It is easy to wipe down and clean and super easy for them to hold! The material is also really soft on their little gums and won’t cause more irritation.
19. Newborn Mitten and Socks
Babies are born with sharp finger nails and they are too little to use clippers on them right away. They can scratch their precious faces accidentally and a lot of times make it bleed. I used the mittens with Kennedy all the time. One time I forgot to put them on, and she scrached her face pretty badly. It was bleeding and still has a scar from it. So register for 2 packs of mittens because they get lost easily and you will want to keep a pair in the nursery, bedroom, car and diaper bag! Newborns little feet get cold really easily. I would put socks on her even with her pjs or under her outfits. She was always a happier babe when she was all snuggled and warm! I love these soft socks and these cute stylish ones as well.
20. Drying Rack and Scrub Brush
Just a warning for new moms, you will be doing LOTS of cleaning and dishes! I felt like I was always at the sink cleaning bottles, parts to my pump, pacifiers, etc. Especially if you plan on using a bottle or formula, having a bottle drying rack will come in handy everyday. I also loved having a scrub brush just for the baby’s things so I can keep it clean and sanitized. I love this bottle drying rack and this scrub brush! I also got plant based and non-toxic soap to clean her bottles. I felt better knowing everything that I was cleaning with was non-toxic and wouldn’t be harmful to my precious little baby! I have used Dapple cleaning products and still do. I love the bottle and dishes soap!
