I’m so excited to share our family Easter photos with you! Easter is one of my favorite holidays and it is even more special with this little angel!
I can’t believe the week is going by so fast. Some times the days seem soo long but the weeks really do go by fast! I am FINALLY getting over an irritating cough I have had for a couple weeks. I wasn’t sick, so I think it was just allergies. Kennedy went to nursery at our church for the 1st time on Sunday, and I was very surprised she last for 2 hours. Whenever I drop her off at the daycare at the gym, I get a call after 30-45 min that she is screaming crying for mommy. They said she went to the door a few times trying to open it and said “Mama, Mama!!” But went back to playing right away. Let’s just say church is soo much more relaxing without having to entertain her for 3 hours and chase her around. ha! The next day though, Kennedy had a runny and stuffed up nose and has been sneezing a lot. She seems happy still, has lots of energy,and isn’t running a temperature. Sooo I’m hoping it is only allergies as well. I will just have to wait and see what her Dr says when she has her 18 month check up this week.
With Easter less than a week away, I wanted to share with you the Easter photos we did over the weekend! We had a little Easter Egg Hunt with her in the grass and she had so much fun. Her favorite part is finding the eggs with the taffy candy and the ones with the stickers 🙂 Of course, putting taffy candy in some of them wasn’t the best mom move haha
Easter is one of my favorite holidays because we get to remember the Savior and the ultimate sacrifice he made for us! I love this holiday because it represents so much and means so much to me. It makes me remember how much the Lord loves every single person on this Earth and he truly knows how we feel from what he suffered and endured. Alex and I have loved doing all the fun Easter festivities with Kennedy this year! On Saturday, we took her to this cute little farm tucked away herein Orange County. They had pony rides, a little train, hay rides, a lake, and Kennedy did her first Easter Egg Hunt. We loved seeing her grab all the eggs and pout them in her big Easter basket! It was the cutest thing and I know she will look back on those photos when she is older and cherish them.
I am so grateful the Lord blessed me with the most amazing and sweet husband, and dedicated father to Kennedy! He truly is the rock in our family and has a servants heart. He really makes me want to be a better person! I am also so grateful for Kennedy and the Lord blessing us with her sweet spirit. She is our entire world and we couldn’t be more obsessed and in love with her. We will both just stare at her while she is eating or watching tv, and then realized what we’re doing..haha! We are just so grateful each and everyday to be her parents and she chose us to raise her!
