MAMMAROO REVIEW…
MAMAROO | CRIB | BEDDING | GREY RUG | WHITE SHAG RUG | ROCKER | OTTOMAN | GOLD BOW | PINK PJS | HEART BIB
I want to share with you my experience with the mamaROO and my review on it! I got the mamaRoo when I was pregnant with Kennedy, after hearing such amazing things about it online and from friends! The mamaRoo is made by 4Moms and is an infant seat that mimics what parents do to rock and swing your baby! The mamaRoo features five unique motions and five speed options. There are buttons on the base of the mamaRoo where you can manually change these. Also, you can download the 4Moms App, and control the motion and sounds just from your phone! Kennedy loves the tree swing motion and the rain sound. There are four different built-in sounds, or you can connect any MP3 device to the mamaRoo. The mamaRoo seat offers full recline to allow baby to lie back and relax or sit up and play. It’s nice to adjust it to have it reclined because sometimes she has acid reflux. The fabric is removable and machine washable. There are reversible toy balls for the baby to look at- colored side or black and white.
I love how it doesn’t take up a lot of room and looks stylish and sleek in our family room. Other swings I was looking at were huge and took up so much space. They also weren’t the cutest thing to look at. There are four different modern and cute fabrics to choose from. Two of them are a super soft fabric and the other two are a woven material. I got the Silver Plush fabric for the neutral look and the softness of the fabric. I also got the newborn insert which I highly recommend. When we brought her home from the hospital, we started putting her in the mamaRoo if we needed to get stuff done, if I needed a quick break, or for one of her naps. It keeps her neck and head steady and keeps her tiny body in place. I use the mamaRoo now to keep her occupied while I do some chores, take a shower, or if she is super sleepy and ready for a nap. I usually don’t like to have her sleep in the mamaRoo ALL the time. I switch off during the day between naps in the mamaRoo, carrier, her DocATot or on my chest. She really does love being in the mamaRoo and it keeps her calm and happy being in there!
Even though this baby item is on the pricer side compared to other swings and rockers, I highly recommend you put this on your registry or the top of your baby must-haves list! I got a couple other rockers and bouncers, and Kennedy won’t last more than five minutes in them. She would like to stay in her mamaRoo for hours if I let her! lol
The mamaROO is for use from birth until child reaches maximum weight limit of 25 pounds or can sit up unassisted or attempts to climb out, whichever comes first. Note the maximum weight: 25 pounds. Also, your baby should be strapped into the mamaROO when they are in it- especially if they are left unattended!
The mamaROO is something I plan on using for all of my babies, and definitely my top five baby must-haves!!! I honestly don’t know what I would do without the mamaROO. Having it in our home makes life with a baby that much easier. Thanks 4Moms for making such amazing baby products!!!
