Picking Out the Perfect Convertible Car Seat!
I’m sharing the new convertible car seats we recently got for the kiddos!
Are you searching for an awesome convertible car seat for your little one?! I’m sharing what I recently got for Kennedy and Dane, and why we love it! Since Dane is in the 95th percentile for height, he was outgrowing his infant car seat. I went to my local buybuyBABY store here in Orange County, California, and tested out a bunch of different car seats before choosing the perfect one for the kiddos! Jeremy, who is the car seat and stroller specialist at the store was so knowledgeable about all the specs and safety features of each car seat brand. We were able to test out all the different car seats with Dane and figure out what worked best for our specific needs. We were able to take that knowledge home with us and I did some more research on my own as well. I discovered UPPAbaby just recently released their New KNOX Convertible Car Seat at buybuyBABY and it had everything I was looking for.
One of my most favorite baby products when Dane was a newborn was the UPPAbaby MESA Infant car seat! It was so convenient to just click it into our VISTA stroller when I was out and about with the kids, and I loved all the safety features as well. I also loved how cushiony it was and Dane was always so happy in it. I was always shocked at how easily he instantly fell asleep in it when we were out and about. When Kennedy was a newborn, we had a different brand infant car seat that didn’t have a lot of cushioning, and she absolutely HATED being in her car seat. So it just shows how important choosing the right car seat is in terms of comfort and safety.I think this time around with the MESA, the snug fit and cushioning made it very comfy for Dane!

I have really appreciated all of your advice and product reviews on inta! I’m a fairly new, first-time mommy. My daughter Sawyer is 17 months old. I have looked to your posts for inspiration when planning for her nursery, strollers, gadgets, and all things baby and now toddler. I was especially excited about this car seat now that I’m looking for a convertible option that will stay with her over the years as she’s outgrowing her current seat. I have procrastinated a bit and when I finally visited the buybuy baby website and searched for the Knox I couldn’t find it. When I tried to pull it up in a Google search I saw that Uppa Baby had actually just recalled the seat and asked retailers to pull it from sale. I’m sure you were made aware but, I thought I would reach out just in case.
Your posts have been so helpful to me, I just wanted to try to return the favor. I hope you find another car seat that you love just as much. I ended up going with a Britax. It’s not as stylish as this Uppa Baby seat but, safety is the most important feature in the end. Looking forward to more reviews and inspo from your pages!
