Simple Pink and Green Table Setting for Easter with MacKenzie-Childs!
Today I’m sharing my simple table setting for Easter this Spring with MacKenzie-Childs!
I’m so happy it is FINALLY Spring! Was it just me or did January/ February seem to be the longest months ever haha! Spring is one of my favorite seasons for so many reasons! I love all the beautiful green hills and flowers all around where we live, the warmer weather, Easter, and of course we are back to more daylight in the evenings (probably my favorite part). I love decorating the house for holidays now that Kennedy is old enough to understand them. She gets excited when she sees little Easter bunnies and all the decorations around the kitchen. I’m taking her this week to see the Easter bunny with her cousins, so I’m hoping she will love it this year!
Easter decor is one of my favorites! I have always loved seeing everyone’s decor and tabelscapes over the years. So, this year I decided to finally do my own Easter tablescape with the help of MacKenzie-Childs! If you saw my Christmas Tablescape post last Winter, you might know I had the amazing opportunity to go to New York with the MC team last Fall and stay a week in Aurora, NY. We got to tour the MacKenzie-Childs factory where they make and hand paint everything produced at that location. That week we got to know this amazing brand inside and out! The team behind all the products created are so talented and put so much time and love into every single product. I was so excited to get started on sharing my Easter tablescape with you guys!
For this post, I am sharing the table setting for Easter which is only a little less than a month away! I like to start preparing for Holidays about a month advance, so I can just relax and focus on family the day of. One of my favorite color combinations for Spring is blush pink, green, and lilac. So I decided to incorporate those colors into my decor! I also added in the classic MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check print which I love! I think it adds such a fun and classic twist to this set-up. My favorite flower for Spring is the Tulip, so I made sure to make those a center point of the table to really make it feel like Spring. I also mixed in some fun bunnies, painted easter eggs, and carrots into the center of the table. You can also see some fun Easter decor MacKenzie-Childs has here. The Courtly Check salad plates I used is their signature print- they are so beautiful and I love the unique / fun print. The thing I love most about MacKenzie-Childs is their plates, bowls, etc can be used for so many different occasions, and you can use them year round- not just on special occasions. From the neutral and light Sweetbriar Collection, I used the Sweetbriar napkin ring, plate, wine glass, and charger. These are my most used and most versatile pieces I own because they are beautiful and white, so they work well with any decor and color scheme!
To keep with my theme of pink and green for this table setting, I used these rose colored napkins which really make the table come to life! They are simple yet beautiful, and are perfect for Springtime! They also have black and white beads on the edge, which tie into the Courtly Check print on the salad plate. I have used them for so many occasions and can also be used everyday too. From stovetop to tabletop, the Flower Market tea kettle is also one of my favorite MC pieces. I usually have this sitting on my stove in my kitchen everyday, which I use mainly as a piece of decor. But I thought it would be fun to use it as a centerpiece for the flowers in my tablescape! I just picked up these tulips at my local Trader Joe’s and they were fairly inexpensive. They are beautiful, inexpensive, and really make it look like Springtime in your house- that’s why I love them. It took me no time to throw these arrangements together, which this busy mama needs- something that is easy and simple! The surrounding items I just picked up at my local home store and were super easy to throw together. I hope you guys enjoyed the tour around my Easter table and found some inspiration for your own table setting!
