My Winter Bucket List and Coastal Winter Looks with Southern Shirt Company
Today I’m sharing three cozy and cute coastal inspired Winter looks from Southern Shirt Company! I’m also sharing the Winter Bucket List I put together for my family and I!
One of the best parts about living in California is being near the ocean! Alex and I are both from Southern California, so it has always been a big part of our lives and a source of joy and fun for us! It also has been an inspiration for things from how I decorate my home to my personal style. I love the laid back coastal style here in southern California. The Southern Shirt Company has so many perfect pieces to add to your Winter wardrobe this season, that are casual, laid back, and amazing quality! I wanted to share with you how I styled three looks from their new Winter line! I’m also sharing a big Try-on-Haul over on my Instagram stories and they are also saved in my IG Highlights under “Try-on-Haul!”
First off, this Sherpa Pullover is literally the SOFTEST thing I own! I literally wear it 24/7 and never want to take it off. Not only is it super comfy, but it keeps me warm now that it’s finally cooling down here. It has a half-zip and the sleeve cuffs are elastic to keep the cold out! I’m wearing the color Oyster Gray and it goes with everything. I love pairing it with my favorite pair of white denim- such a cute and casual winter outfit! It also looks super cute with black leggings! I’m wearing a size small and it is an over-sized/ boyfriend fit. If you want a more snug fit, I would size down one size. I personally love the over-sized fit and it will also be perfect for my growing baby bump!
The second look I love and style is with this Waffle Knit thermal! The dusty blue color is the prettiest shade of blue and it also comes in 2 other colors! It is incredibly soft, the fit is perfect with it being a little longer in the back, and I love how flattering it is. This has been my go-to long sleeved tee lately and now I need to get it in another color!! This is waffle knit tee is perfect for that coastal, winter look and can be dressed up or down with sandals- yes sandals! Today has been the coldest day so far this November, a low of 70 degrees, so it’s safe to say sandals will be worn for a little bit longer haha! It keeps me really warm and looks so cute layered under cardigans or jackets.
I love mixing in a pop of color with my Winter wardrobe. One easy way to do that this Holiday season with some festive plaid! I got this Chelsea Plaid Dress in the color Athens and I’m obsessed! It runs a tad small, so I recommend sizing up if you want some more length. I wear it with jeans and leggings and it works perfectly with my small baby bump!! I wore it with a white tassel scarf and my favorite booties! It is a high-low hem and looks so cute with sandals, OTK boots, booties, worn with leggings, or tights.
This is the first Winter’s since we’ve been married where we get to have Christmas in our own house! After college, Alex’s job took us to Houston and then back to California, where we currently live. I have already decorated the tree for Christmas and pretty much all of the downstairs is all decked out as well! Even though we live in a place where it doesn’t get very cold in the Winter, we are also a short drive to the mountains and snow. One of the things Alex and I plan on doing this Winter is taking Kennedy to the snow and having a day of playing in the snow. We took a trip to Utah recently and Kennedy played in the snow for the first time- and she was obsessed!!! I made a Winter Bucket List for our family this season of things we can do to keep us entertained and to create lasting memories as a family. Last summer, I created a Summer Bucket List, which you can find here.
